Katie was an absolute treasure to have on my wedding day. She went above and beyond to be supportive in the morning and it truly felt like a close friend was doing my wedding makeup.
I have acne prone skin but you’d never know from my wedding photos and I’m so so grateful for her talent. I have never looked, or importantly felt as beautiful as I did. Every step through the planning journey Katie was in it and there were quite a few changes along the way but nothing I asked for ever felt like too much. My hair is half back and half blonde (think Narcissa Malfoy) and it was so important to me that both these colors were on display even though I wanted an updo, Katie nailed it.

I booked Katie Gale’s Unconventional Collective and Breakthrough artist Toni as I wanted to be sure that my untraditional bridal style and cruelty-free values would be respected, and to have reassurance that there would be no "single point of failure" in the event of sickness.
Toni was an absolute superstar in creating a hair and makeup look that was authentically me, right down to creating the low side-ponytail that I originally drew in my dress design, with braids and texture for more pop! There was nobody better to share the preview and wedding morning with bopping along to him.
Katie was excellent at understanding what I was looking for at my initial consultation and managing all the admin and organisation so clearly, the Wedquarters online portal is absolutely inspired.

We had a fantastic experience having hired Katie for wedding hair and make-up - both me and my husband have long hair and she did both our hair and also my sister's hair and then my make-up on the wedding morning.
She was an essential part of keeping our wedding morning on track and stress-free. Her talent really stood out with the complex styles. She did an amazing job on my husband's long hair, creating a beautiful combination of braids—the fishtail braid, in particular, was truly stunning and received countless compliments throughout the day. My own hair was an intricate braid as well and exactly what I wanted, and my makeup looked flawless and held up all day.
Katie was incredibly professional and supportive throughout the whole morning. When I started feeling overwhelmed and a little emotional, she was a calming presence, helping to keep me cool and grounded.
She handled the morning schedule with impressive efficiency. Despite having less time than originally planned because my bridesmaids and I were running late, she managed the timeline brilliantly, getting me and my sister ready right on time, which was a huge relief and a testament to her great time management.
Her attention to detail is another great reason to hire her. She was focused on the finishing touches until the last minute, even re-curling the front bits of my hair do just before I walked out to go to the ceremony.

Incredible!! I had the honour of the lovely Katie doing my hair and make up for my wedding day and it was the most beautiful I have ever felt!
Since our first discovery call after finding her at the alt wedding fair, she made me feel so comfortable and really took my ideas and my vision and gave me everything and more! I felt so at ease at my design trial and Katie was so friendly and took all my questions and chit chat with no worries, even any changes later on.
The wedding morning was just so wonderful and everyone loved meeting Katie and being glammed by her too, she brought the good vibes we needed. All our hair and make up lasted all day and night, including the tears, the laughter and a bit of head banging too! Couldn't fault Katie one bit, would 100% use her again for any kind of event, just to feel the most glamorous! It’s hard to put into words just how good Katie was, I am someone who doesn’t wear makeup and was nervous about wearing it for my big day but Katie completely made me feel at ease and the look made me still feel like me, she also didn’t hesitate to let me use my own makeup brands (I have sensitive skin) not only was the makeup amazing but she travelled up to the Lake District to do it for me!
