Hey there, I'm Anna - Your vintage obsessed and slightly goofy Hairstylist. If you love Cats, Musicals, Building Lego, watching Old Hollywood movies from the 50's and reboots of British 90's telly classics such as Gladiators then we will absolutely get on and have a vibe! I've been styling vintage hair for almost a decade now and love how the same technique can look so different on each person. I pour my heart and passion into each hairstyle I create to give you the most authentic elevated and bespoke hairstyle that sits alongside your vision.
'Such a fab experience, Anna is just the loveliest person ever and I felt comfortable immediately her hair is an absolute work of art and you can tell she just loves what she does with all the detail and care she puts in. I will definitely be getting my hair done with her again, I left feeling beautiful and empowered and I can't stop talking about the fabulous old Hollywood waves!! Thank you so much again Anna'
Anna’s Style
Specialising in vintage inspired hairstyles, I recreate the elegance of bygone eras of 1920's through to 1960's - from soft Hollywood Waves to polished Victory Rolls, which I like to blend with a modern, wearable twist. My ethos? Confidence, connection, and a touch of old-school glamour. I'm all about celebrating individually, creating looks that last to make every client feel like the star of their own movie.
Anna’s Advice
On a personal note, from my own experience when getting married there are 2 keys pieces of advice that I like to pass onto my clients. Firstly, this is your celebration so choose the things that will make you and your partner happy, you should be able to look back on your wedding day without any regrets from trying to please other people. Secondly, don't let anyone talk you out of how you want to look on your wedding day-want oversized dramatic Victory Rolls or to wear a bright bold red lip, do it! Want to wear black, go for it-just always make sure you are being authentically you. Choose a your wedding party besties and suppliers who help you embrace your authenticity.
Finally, from a hairstyling point of view, it's never too early to start a regular hair care routine. Try to use heat only once a week and always use a heat protector when applying heat to your hair. Introduce a weekly hair mask into your hair washing routine, and make sure you always shampoo twice! And its always better for your hair if you wash and rinse with cool water.
